 My name is Massimo Fabbri and I was born in Florence 26 years ago… I bump into photography one day by chance just 6 years ago thanks to the present of my father: an MX Pentax. Since then I spent days by days taking pictures… By the end of the 2005 I attended a photography master course helded by Dario Orlandi- thanks to him I’ve understood more clearly what was in my mind and to take my thoughts out of it into pictures…I learned about the photography language and composition… At the end of August this year I attended a photography competition for the Reportage section, called Toscana Foto Festival 2007... I decided to call my project “David-in-line”…despite my idea ..I won and this allowed me to attend a workshop with Francesco Zizola, a worldwide recognized photographer…it was very interesting and good for me to gain some more experience… Now I’m a freelance photographer… I hope to become a photoreporter… Mi chiamo Massimo Fabbri, sono venuto al mondo 26 anni fa’ a Firenze. Ho incontrato la fotografia per caso, circa 6 anni fa’, grazie alla vecchia Pentax MX di mio padre. Da allora ne ho scattate di diapositive … A fine 2005 ho partecipato a un corso fotografico tenuto dal fotografo Dario Orlandi; grazie a lui, ho messo ordine nella mia testa, ho colmato tante lacune di composizione e di linguaggio fotografico. Ad Agosto ho partecipato al concorso fotografico sezione reportage (con il mio progetto David-in-line), al Toscana Foto Festival 2007 e ho vinto la borsa di studio per accedere al workshop di Francesco Zizola; favolosa esperienza che mi ha chiarito ancora di piu’ le idee.
